Same Couple - Different civil ceremony card

Hello fellow bloggers!

Here is my card for today, another card for the same wedding!

Well, let me tell you that I have found it so difficult making 3 different cards for the same couple in the same colour.

This card was designed specifically for the lady who wanted it, she drew me a picture on a piece of paper and asked me to create it for her!  The worst mistake when card making is asking 'what would you like' then you seem to be forever trying to please and make sure they will like it.

I have used ivory and black (again!) I used 2 A4 sheets to make the card base and with all the layers in total I have used 8 sheets of card not to mention 2 A3 sheets for the box...  I am worried it may not stand up lol...

I cut a heart frame using the cricut and then attached the ribbon roses around the frame, I then placed diamontes in the centre (as requested)
Again my signature ribbon, sheer organza in black, this is lovely as it has a beautiful sheen on it.  The text was on generated on the computer, I have been told that it is extremely difficult to find nice cards for civil partnerships.

The first ivory layer I cut out about 20 memory box corners on velvet flocked self adhesive paper so when it was die cut I just had to peel off the backing and stick it on.

Hope you like it, I would love to hear your comments as I am a little unsure about this one.

I just hope that she likes it!!!

Bye for now

Anniversary Card Request

Gosh 2 posts in one day, I must be on a roll!!

I have a requested card today too, I have managed to make up quite quickly as they need it by tomorrow.

I have used lovely lilac and white although the camera doesn't seem to capture the true colour as it looks alot better in real life!

I have used a plaque for the main focal point as he wanted it fully personalised. I have made the flowers using punches and added the lovely silver jewels in the centre, the plaque as a lovely metal butterfly embellishment I am running out of these now but they seem to be a lovely addition and a nice size too.

Behind the butterfly is another fluffy white feather, I have embossed part of the layer with a flower called budding vine and then of course finished with my signature bow although I wanted a thinner one but this was the only one I had in lilac so had to use it.

The main card I have used the new memory box corners I cant remember what they are called maybe someone could let me know... I then added lilac diamontes to finish.

hope you like it

Card For My Mum - Parisian Chic!!!

Good afternoon,

I have another card for you today, this one is for my mum

I decided to use my new Kanban Kit - Lavender Rose by Dawn Wheeler
I am usually not one for kits but, I love the all of it Pink and Lilacs are my favourites so had to get it!

The card is just under A4 in size, I have decided that now I am making the bigger cards I am making the boxes first out of A3 as I have previously made a couple of cards that I have struggled making boxes for!

The Pink card is a lovely silk card and mounted this onto some mirri, I have used the postcard topper and also the birdcage and as I saw this been elevated by a small piece of acetate which is scored both sides and then stuck using the red line tape to make sure it stays, then you dont have to worry about using a million foam pads to get the height.  I have placed a feather underneath and added some lovely cherry blossom which was from WOC.  The left of the card which of course had to by my signature ribbon, just have to have it on every card I do lol.   I have die cut the very small bird cage which was a poppy stamps die from memory box and added a beautiful diamonte heart pendant/charm.

I hope you like it and just want to wish my mum a very happy birthday
and hope you have a fabulous day!
