another quick christmas card......

Good Afternoon all

well 2 posts in 1 day...... thats a first for me.

Am so busy with all the christmas preparations at the moment its driving me bonkers...

I have used a joy craft snowflake and some kanban backing foiled card

I have then been trying a new technique foiling.

I have an oki laser printer which can print onto card upto 320gsm and it is fantastic, I have just bought a foil it machine, I have to admit there customer service is fantastic! if you have any questions or recommendations they are more than willing to help.

my card is 300gsm and is quite thick so was so pleased that it worked, I then ran it through the foil it machine which you have to experiment with but a general rule with it is the thicker the card the higher the temperature needs to be.

so please find my card below

would love to hear from you.

Quick Christmas cards

Good Afternoon all

I have a couple of posts today, I love wreaths at christmas as you can get some real depth and dimension and then on top you can add lots of different textures.

I have used the memory box holiday wreath and cut it out of 2 different shades of green to add definition, then on top added some pinflair followed by some twinklets and then some gesso and added glitter whilst wet.

for the final touch a bow and a lovely pair of gold bells.

The sentiment was done on the pc

I hope you like it.
would love to hear some feedback.

Cupcakes for a gift

Good morning fellow bloggers, I made these yesterday for a gift. I have only just started baking and think I am getting quite addicted to baking lol....

I actually really enjoying doing these, I have bought myself a few icing plungers and a flower veiner which makes things so easy.

As you can see you get a great result with these!

I bought the gift box, but think I am going to try and make the boxes myself in future would love to decorate those too to match an accompanying card.

Anyway off to do some more baking lol

Would love to hear from you

18th Birthday

Good Afternoon fellow bloggers!

I have a last minute card to blog about today.

I have used her favourite colour, cadbury's purple so had to add this together with gentle ivory card.

I started with my sentiment on the pc, the added the embossing - couture creations 'tied together', added loads of little diamontes.

A lovely satin purple signature ribbon, I used the ribbon slider to make a mock double bow, I love anything sparkly.......

The topper was made out of a overlay onto the ivory card - printed leopard print thought this made the card more up to date! I then added the lid to the box and finished it with purple glitter, diamontes, ribbon and feathers.  I added a little tag to finish so it was personalised with her name.

I made a matching box and added the ribbon and mock double bow to match the card.

I thought rather than just putting money loose inside, I made a wallet and personalised this on the pc.

Hope you like it.....

I would love to hear your thoughts on this card.....

Mothers Day......

Good afternoon all, My card for today is for mothers day....  I actually made a mistake as I put a comma instead of an apostrophe!! lol but only noticed it after I assembled it was more worried about the die cutting and embossing.... isnt it always the way

I have used a red and white theme, I love this as it is striking together so a perfect match.

I embossed the bottom half of the card with couture creations 'tied together' embossing folder, I then decided to add lots of pearls I think this looks lovely when the pearls are on it in the relevant places..

I have of course used a signature ribbon red organza, it has a lovely sheen to it which is hard to capture in the photo..  I printed out the sentiment onto my card then diecut it using spellbinders fleur de lys squares, i then added another of the classic squares to make the frame.

Embellishments used are a ribbon slider which I incorporated in a double bow, the flowers are from wild orchid crafts and thought it needed a further little dash of colour so added a small feather in the corner of the sentiment.

Hope you like it

I would love to hear you

Something a little different

Good afternoon all, fancied doing something different.

I found a beautiful image from saturated canary! I think everything she does is superb and perfect for the in between ages.

I have used the lovely papers from my minds eye lost and found, a beautiful diecur from memory box and the flowers, lace and charm are from my stash.

The gorgeous I image is called 'boobie love' by satuated canary and has been coloured with copics.

Hope you like it!

Would be great to hear your comments
