Birthdays & Butterflies

Morning all, this is my card to share today

I have finally had chance to play with my new Silhouette Cameo, it is fantastic!

There is so many features the list is endless so so easy when you need a quick card.

I designed the letters then did a shadow of the letters to lay them on, the paper cut perfectly and then the mirror card well this cut like butter on a cut depth of 3 as this goes up to 10 so cutting super thick card will be no problem.

For the flourish I dotted around the lines with a pencil first then stuck the rhinestones one by one.

The flower was from the quickcutz library, I cut 3 flowers then shaped and layered them then added a beautiful rhinestone embellishment for an extra bit of bling.  My fav Colour pink ribbon although I have had to refrain from using my normal extra wide ribbon but I feel it would of drowned the card!
Placed the flower on top and there you have a quick card.

Once I did the design studio work, I then popped over to publisher and added all the sentiment, the greeting inside and the signature on the back.

Thanks for dropping by

All Dressed In Ivory

Good Afternoon Bloggers, Thanks for dropping by to see my creations.

The Card today is for mothers day for a really special lady!.

This card was inspired by Becca a fantastic lady whoms creations are apsolutely delightful.

This was quite simple really, I have used a lovely Ivory linen card, the embossed 3 panels and cut them to a point added a lovely new spellbinders border from the persian accents, these are apsolutely stunning I am really going to have to go out and buy lots more of these. I have made the roses using a 6 petal punch and put in tiny leaves.

The rhinestone flourish was designed and made by me by hand and then stuck each one on individually, very time consuming!.  I have added the do crafts butterfly from the lovely punch and also added the lovely ribbon with silver embellishments on the ribbon bow.

Thats all for today
thanks for taking the time to ready my blog

Mothers Day is coming!!!

Morning All

Well the sun is shining in my craft room and I am so glad summer is on its way.

Mothers day is coming again, I love this time of year, it gives you chance to craft for the family again which I love making and sending cards to!!

This is a keepsake boxed drawer card which I made for my lovely mum, she lives very far away and even though we talk on the phone, I do miss her dearly.

This is 6 x 6 in size and let me tell you I dont think I will be making another!!! 3 attempts at making the drawer so it fitted perfectly.  I have used some papers that I know she will like and she loves flowers so thought I would get the pearl spray out and give those some shimmer with some added butterflies and decorative leaves.  Of course my signature bow and that dazzling sparkling ribbon I couldnt resist.  The corners are of course my fav mariannes, I made the pins myself, was going to add more but after the 2 and a half hours it took to make I was all crafted out!!!

The drawer embellishment I made also out of a brad and spacer I think it fits this perfectly

Thats all for now, please leave a comment it would be great to hear what you think!!

Kenny K Birthday

Hello All, Well another day another card~!!

This is for my niece I hope she likes it!! I thought that this image is perfect for the girlie teenager and hope its not too revealing...  I just love these images they are so trendy especially for the latest generation!!

I started off with a 6 x 6 Card blank and have used the lovely my minds eye papers from this is from one of the huge pads, although I dont think you can see much of it... Lol...

The image is kenny k, I have edged it with a glorious stamp from the stempelglede grunge collection which I think finishes off the edges just right. I have threaded the gorgeous ribbon and also added some lovely guipure lace which I sewed onto the card with my sewing machine, I find this easier than glueing!! I have stitched around the edge, the black is very bold so I am not too sure about it but it seems to go together nicely.

The roses are from WOC and the other flowers are from the works shop which they do have in most town centres.  I have used a heart charm and chain, threaded decorative pins which i have made myself by adding the decorative cups.

The sentiment is from lili of the valley I love those round stamps they cover so many occasions and are just fab.

That is all for today, if you have any questions please do get in touch, As I am still relatively new to blogging please do leave a comment it would be great to hear your comments.

Happy Crafting
