This Years Christmas Cards

This maybe a larger than normal post, as I am  going to link this years christmas cards in one go.....

I have used lots of spellbinders dies, fancy lattice, labels 28. frosty forms, create a flake 3 and beautiful hunkydory mirror speciality mirror card.  I didnt add any ribbon :) but felt that it just looked too much for the type of style I wanted.  I frosted the flowers and added some frosty stems for decoration, the holly sprig is from a memory box die.

I have made more than one of each just for time really as I spend too much time concentrating on one...

Christmas shopping as took over I'm afraid am all in a tizzy, making sure I have all the right gifts it just seems to consume too much time.  I am hoping to have more time after the festivities to do my own thing and finally get the use out of my copics.

anyway heres the pics below, I have added in some arty shots so you can see the depth

Thanks for looking and hope all you peeps are ready for Christmas!!

I would love to hear from you.

Good Afternoon!

I have a requested wedding card for you today

I have used  beautiful ice white pearl card, and cut the new spellbinders botanical swirls followed by a frame from spellbinders labels 28 to encase and surround the lovely pattern.

I decided to write the names of the couple on one of the fancy tags which i have the placed in an arch shape over the frame.

Flowers and of course my signature bow finished with a few diamontes and a lovely tissue lined box to showcase it in!

et voila!!

Hope you like it

16th Birthday Card

Good Afternoon Fellow bloggers.

This is my first post of the week, the weeks are flying by and there are just not enough hours in the day!

I have a Requested 16th Birthday Card today, I tried to keep this quite simple as again making a card for a teenager is a nightmare but thankfully at least it was for a female!!!

I have used lovely ice white pearl card which I have mounted onto silver and black card, the topper was made by myself, I printed the leopard print pattern onto the same card and then made a lid which was sprayed and glittered of course!

The letters were cut on my cricut again sprayed and glittered! and the tag was spellbinders labels 28 I think!

Finished with a lovely Black Feathers,  wide ribbon and a heart diamonte ribbon slider!!!   and NO Bow, yes probably the first card I have ever made without one lol.

Hope you like it!

It would be great to hear from  you!

OMG New Pen Storage

2 posts in 1 day,  this is a first for me.

I haven't got a card but would like to tell you how excited I am about my new pen storage.

These are from crafters companion and are the ULTIMATE pen  storage.

The fact it is modular is fab for me as I have a loft space and with the eaves sloping it is difficult to get anything to fit.  I have put my copics in which is my well loved collection of Copic Ciao and Copic sketch markers.  I have bought a few sets of the Spectrum Noir and also a few promarkers, so will need another 2 lots of 6 I think then this will be complete!

Many times I have had to root around for the right pen combination well no more, I just had to share as this was only delivered an hour ago and I have already assembled mine (they are staggered) and put my pens in.

below is a quick pic of the storage on my desk

let me know what you think of them. you can leave a message in my new gadget on the right, I would love to hear from you.

well thats my last post of the week, will be back soon
(I promise)

40th Birthday card!

Good Afternoon

I have a 40th birthday card for you today,  this was a quick make (only took 2 days! lol)
I just wish I could knock out a card in 30 minutes would be lovely.

It took me a day to plan out and  select everything I wanted on it.

I have used the new spellbinders fancy lattice, floral ovals and cut the 40 on my cricut!
the flowers have bee fully glitzed and so has the numbers!

The embellishments I have used is Ribbon (of course), a rhinestone heart charm and the cute little on in the centre of the ribbon is a spacer and brad.

Hunkydory card for the backing card and then lovely pearl card for the main, the text is computer generated.

I have added a new gadget to my side bar, I would love to hear from you even if its just to say you have dropped by!  just getting used to blogland and hopefully will have a better background soon!! (when I figure out how to do it) lol.

Anniversary with a hint of BLING!!!!

Afternoon All,
What a day, it is raining hard outside and I have the heating on so feel lovely and warm.
Winter is on its way i think!

I have an anniversary card for you today, I have made this with my new botanical swirls and accents dies from spellbinders.

Surprisingly enough this is one of the quickest cards I have made for a long time.

I have used nearly all white pearl together with a hint of silver and a beautiful new JEWEL wow and this is superb bling and reflects the light like dazzling diamonds, but also weighs a ton so this is going to cost me a fortune to post lol

only one pic today folks as the light levels in my room are not so good, I really must use my light box but this is only good when you have a dark room and mines inbetween at the moment.

hope you like it and will post again soon.

Would be lovely to hear your views and comments!

Male Cards Arggggh!!!

Morning all

I have a Male Card this morning, and believe me I cannot make them very at all, I so love sparkly things and really you cannot put all the lovely embellishments on a male card, I am looking for some new charms so hope to have them soon.

I normally try and buy a card if is for a male relative I know BUY a card which I hate doing but some of my family are really difficult to find the right thing!

So here it is, I have printed a quality image of a formula one car and then just mounted it onto some black and silver card. I then decided as this was not very interesting to put an acetate dome on the front but make it a square one instead of a round one so it would fold flat to put in an envelope for posting.

Added 2 shades of ribbon to tie in the colour scheme, added the sentiment text in 3 different fonts just so it was a little different and hey presto.  I have even personalised the insert by fading the image of the formula one car inside, this fits the whole of the insert rather than just a small picture which has been faded into the background!

hope you like it, I have my mums anniversary card to do this week so will be posting that soon please do pop back to see it.

Same Couple - Different civil ceremony card

Hello fellow bloggers!

Here is my card for today, another card for the same wedding!

Well, let me tell you that I have found it so difficult making 3 different cards for the same couple in the same colour.

This card was designed specifically for the lady who wanted it, she drew me a picture on a piece of paper and asked me to create it for her!  The worst mistake when card making is asking 'what would you like' then you seem to be forever trying to please and make sure they will like it.

I have used ivory and black (again!) I used 2 A4 sheets to make the card base and with all the layers in total I have used 8 sheets of card not to mention 2 A3 sheets for the box...  I am worried it may not stand up lol...

I cut a heart frame using the cricut and then attached the ribbon roses around the frame, I then placed diamontes in the centre (as requested)
Again my signature ribbon, sheer organza in black, this is lovely as it has a beautiful sheen on it.  The text was on generated on the computer, I have been told that it is extremely difficult to find nice cards for civil partnerships.

The first ivory layer I cut out about 20 memory box corners on velvet flocked self adhesive paper so when it was die cut I just had to peel off the backing and stick it on.

Hope you like it, I would love to hear your comments as I am a little unsure about this one.

I just hope that she likes it!!!

Bye for now

Anniversary Card Request

Gosh 2 posts in one day, I must be on a roll!!

I have a requested card today too, I have managed to make up quite quickly as they need it by tomorrow.

I have used lovely lilac and white although the camera doesn't seem to capture the true colour as it looks alot better in real life!

I have used a plaque for the main focal point as he wanted it fully personalised. I have made the flowers using punches and added the lovely silver jewels in the centre, the plaque as a lovely metal butterfly embellishment I am running out of these now but they seem to be a lovely addition and a nice size too.

Behind the butterfly is another fluffy white feather, I have embossed part of the layer with a flower called budding vine and then of course finished with my signature bow although I wanted a thinner one but this was the only one I had in lilac so had to use it.

The main card I have used the new memory box corners I cant remember what they are called maybe someone could let me know... I then added lilac diamontes to finish.

hope you like it

Card For My Mum - Parisian Chic!!!

Good afternoon,

I have another card for you today, this one is for my mum

I decided to use my new Kanban Kit - Lavender Rose by Dawn Wheeler
I am usually not one for kits but, I love the all of it Pink and Lilacs are my favourites so had to get it!

The card is just under A4 in size, I have decided that now I am making the bigger cards I am making the boxes first out of A3 as I have previously made a couple of cards that I have struggled making boxes for!

The Pink card is a lovely silk card and mounted this onto some mirri, I have used the postcard topper and also the birdcage and as I saw this been elevated by a small piece of acetate which is scored both sides and then stuck using the red line tape to make sure it stays, then you dont have to worry about using a million foam pads to get the height.  I have placed a feather underneath and added some lovely cherry blossom which was from WOC.  The left of the card which of course had to by my signature ribbon, just have to have it on every card I do lol.   I have die cut the very small bird cage which was a poppy stamps die from memory box and added a beautiful diamonte heart pendant/charm.

I hope you like it and just want to wish my mum a very happy birthday
and hope you have a fabulous day!

Civil Partnership Card

As is it really getting into wedding season this is a commissioned card, I was asked to do it in just ivory and black with a hint of silver.

I have sweated over making this card as you know when you just about finish making it and an annoying mark appears out of no where!!!  so I had to re do it all again.

I have used Ivory Linen and a matching Ivory box with black tissue paper, the flowers are all hand shaped and made, the embellishments are all hand made to well, stuck together!  The sentiment I have done on the PC with the requested text, finished with a ribbon, decorative pins, and diamontes.

This card took 7 sheets of card to make it is A4 in size it has so many layers on it I am worried whether it will remain standing!

Thanks for looking

Birthdays & Butterflies

Morning all, this is my card to share today

I have finally had chance to play with my new Silhouette Cameo, it is fantastic!

There is so many features the list is endless so so easy when you need a quick card.

I designed the letters then did a shadow of the letters to lay them on, the paper cut perfectly and then the mirror card well this cut like butter on a cut depth of 3 as this goes up to 10 so cutting super thick card will be no problem.

For the flourish I dotted around the lines with a pencil first then stuck the rhinestones one by one.

The flower was from the quickcutz library, I cut 3 flowers then shaped and layered them then added a beautiful rhinestone embellishment for an extra bit of bling.  My fav Colour pink ribbon although I have had to refrain from using my normal extra wide ribbon but I feel it would of drowned the card!
Placed the flower on top and there you have a quick card.

Once I did the design studio work, I then popped over to publisher and added all the sentiment, the greeting inside and the signature on the back.

Thanks for dropping by

All Dressed In Ivory

Good Afternoon Bloggers, Thanks for dropping by to see my creations.

The Card today is for mothers day for a really special lady!.

This card was inspired by Becca a fantastic lady whoms creations are apsolutely delightful.

This was quite simple really, I have used a lovely Ivory linen card, the embossed 3 panels and cut them to a point added a lovely new spellbinders border from the persian accents, these are apsolutely stunning I am really going to have to go out and buy lots more of these. I have made the roses using a 6 petal punch and put in tiny leaves.

The rhinestone flourish was designed and made by me by hand and then stuck each one on individually, very time consuming!.  I have added the do crafts butterfly from the lovely punch and also added the lovely ribbon with silver embellishments on the ribbon bow.

Thats all for today
thanks for taking the time to ready my blog
